Well, the title says it. One may have a lot (I know people who have literally hundreds) of titles marked as not interested in steam. But, from my own experience, those titles still can be shown on SG in "recommended" section of giveaways. It looks not right. And adding many games from ignore list to hidden list on SG is hard. I think SG should fetching ignore list from steam upon profile sync and excluding those games from recommendations.
Yes, I know it can be done via external scripts. But it does not means it can't be added to SG, right?

UPD: Closed because impossible to implement.

I'm not up to stupid rules. ESGST is a nice tool to have, but it's already overloaded to be honest.

Does "not interest" button hide only one game or all games with similar tags?

I don't have that problem, I just click ignore on all those games, I mean if you use EDGST you can do the option that it's just 1 click to ignore a game so rather just do that and be done with it.

but that's like making the same work twice. You mark game in steam as not interested, then go to sg, find a giveaway with this game, and hide it... even if the last step is just one click, it still looks excessive to me, if it can be totally automated. If it's just one game - it's not much, but for people who ignored many games in steam it can be a lot of work. And my suggestion is not about adding games to hidden list on SG, it's about improving recommendations algorithm.

I have 11,343 games hidden on Steamgifts, no idea what I have hidden on Steam, I don't mind doing it twice.
Besides that I also have games I hide here but not on Steam because not wanting to win the game here doesn't mean the same as not interested for me at least, on some games.
Not sure how Recommended is generated, I never check there to be honest because I just hide games so my All looks the same as Recommended for me :P
I doubt Steamgifts will change anything in that, the only reason they want your Steam is because they want to check if you activated your wins or not, besides that they don't work together and don't check anything on there so it has nothing to do with them.

If you read my start post once again, you may notice that
1) I already stated my opinion about scripts there
2) I don't suggest to hide games marked as not interested. I suggest to improve recommendations algorithm.

Also, ESGST sync is annoying.

+1 to this suggestion

i stopped using ESGT cause it was too massive script with boring esgt-wait-for-update and u-will-never-find-how-to-set-this interface

Now that's embarassing. I was sure it is possible, because I made a userscript for that, but it was long ago and I forgot details. And you are, of course, right, and the endpoint I used is not available to public. Thank you for pointing that out, I will close this topic now.
