I have no idea, the guy I bought it from didn't say there was a region lock

Then demand that guy, so he gives back your stuff you traded him, or compensates it, he may not know game was region locked, unless he is a scammer and did it on purpose.

That only happened to me once. Inversion. It's apparently only for US. :p I highly doubt there is a solution for that.
