Anyone try the new firefox and Steamgifts? I usually have a lot of tabs which slows down Chrome considerably. Anyone try it out yet? With and without extensions?

More than half the QOL add-ons stopped working and no mouse scrolling. I reverted to an ESR version of Firefox to last me a couple months until FF 58 comes out. I think the pages are loading a tiny bit faster in exchange for disabling the darker version of Steamgifts.

Nice and fast, didn't hate the interface, but breaking half my extensions meant going back to 56, where I will stay.

Addons are not working (some of them), wich is creator's fault. Browser is working fast, definitively better than chrome (wich is shit) and opera (who broke some day and never was able to work with gmail :S)

How did it break gmail? Gmail is working fine on my side in Opera.

Honestly, I don't know. One day just stopped working. There is a message from gmail telling me that I'm unable to enter unless I delete the cookies (or something similar, maybe that's not the word).

Ccleaner, uninstalling and reinstalling the browser, cleaning cache, temp, etc. Nothing worked. I had some issues with a windows upgrade, decided to format it and it worked but a couple of days after the same error appeared, so I definitively moved on to firefox :(

Seems kinda weird. Might be an addon that's causing it? Never encountered that before.

New FF Quantum is working like the old version, i have 32GB Ram, don*t know..never thought it was slow... only things i hate is that there is no "Noscript" and no RequestPolicy update yet.... and the black tabs looking so awful.. i didnt found a way to customize the tabs to the old grey look. :(

Would be nice if they hurry to update Noscript and Flashgot. :3

I can deal with the others if it takes longer. Oh also, i hate the new integrated zoom feature as it brokes many site, Zoom Page was a fine extension for that.

It's getting used to something, again, I guess.

The scripts I used are gone and I switched to Tampermonkey because Greasemonkey didn't work as it should (slow\unresponsive\scripts like SG gametags, SGTools links to SG profile and SG BL/WL indicator didn't work\install).

The color they picked for tabs is somewhat eye-murder-y but I'll get used to it... I guess. Haven't opened up 2-3 hundred tabs at the same time yet to check if it works any better. :D

It's fast but chrome is almost equal.
However its more responsive too maybe it's consuming more ram but I don't care.
So I switched from chrome but the experience on Youtube still better on chrome.

I loved Vivaldi but the terrible glitches don't let me use it.

Seems very fast, especially its loading time. Kind of sad my Keyword Search and Undo close Tab extensions broke though.

I've been using it for about two months now on one of my systems just to test it out. Was hoping the scripts would've been converted by the time it hit final build, but that hasn't happened, so now most of them are duds, as most developers say it's too much effort to look at reworking on the new framework as yet - most of it non-profit, etc.
The speed and additional features are welcome, but all my Steam-related scripts are making the upgrade a bit useless overall.

It's great, but since my favorite download manager is not supporting it yet, I'll wait before putting it in my daily laptop.

The new FF looks uglier and feels slower to me O.o As far as I am concerned, we'd be better off without the update ;)
