I love broccoli as well. Which is weird, as I hated it when I was a kid. The same goes for brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and asparagus!
I still hate turnip. I will never like turnip.;)

To eat. However, I will give that sad turnip a hug.;)

I hear you. It is an acquired taste, but with butter and cheese? Mmmmmm!
What other foods leave you concerned?:)

A classic love it or hate it type of hungarian food, basically a stew made out of cattle's stomatch, sliced up into stripes (tastes like almost any similar stew, but I hate the rubbery consistency). I'm not really fond of food where solid parts are so soaked in some liquid that it just wants to crumble apart (so tiramisu and such is just great, but I get the shivers from the idea of eating something like biscuits dunked into milk. Soggy and stuff and bbrrrrr) :D as far as I know this is the more common food I'm not really fond of :)
(I still just find it strange that I have problems with brusssel sprouts. I don't find it disgusting or anything, just plain bitter, even when the family tells that it's okay.)

Halved, sauteed lat side down in olive oil, salt and peppered, they are actually kind of good.
I prefer carrots and parsnips. :D

Oddly enough I have never tried turnips, brussels sprouts or asparagus. Should I consider myself lucky?

I think I haven't eaten turnip, but a few types of similar roots, they are kinda okay. I personally find asparagus delicious, even with some meat, or just made into a cream soup. (Has a lot of fibre in it, so it's a little weird to eat it just cooked for the first time)

Turnips have a very...(hmmm, would tart be the correct term?) taste to it. I find it quite bitter, so don't eat them. The other two I would recommend trying out someday.
A word of warning about asparagus! When your body starts digesting it, it will cause your urine to have a fairly pungent odour to it. Not everyone carries the gene that causes this, but the majority of the population does. Just didn't want you thinking something was wrong!:)
