To my surprise it was not half bad. Shot really well.
Although I'm sensing the emphasis shift from road story that was the original to the story centered in that town, which is not as cool.

Somehow I read "Jack Reacher" all the time, especially because you mentioned Tom Cruise...

Don't no anything about the comics and thus skimmed the wikipedia article. Sounds interesting, maybe I'll watch the series once all the episodes aired.

So called "rule of 3 episodes" - if show doesn't catch your interest after 3 episodes, little chance it will ever get it.
