Best point & click games?

Monkey Island series, Day of the Tentacle, The Neverhood, Grim Fandango (even though it's not literally point&click, but it's an adventure still, one of the very best).

Resonance. I just finished playing it and it's just amazing.

The Longest Journey + its weaker 3d sequel Dreamfall. TLJ is very cool.

Every single game from Amanita Design (Botanicula, Machinarium, Samorost...)

The Neverhood is superb as well.

LucasArts (Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, Monkey Island, Sam&Max) and TellTale games (Sam&Max, Monkey Island, Strongbad).

+1 for Walking dead,Syberia1,2,The longest yourney + dreamfall,Machinarium.
And something that wasn't mentioned: A Vampyre story, Edna & Harvey,Primordia.

Maybe it's not really point'n click, but i can recommend "Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit"

Wow not too much love for Broken Sword, that game's fantastic, my favourite non-LucasArts adventure game. BS2 was pretty good too.

Also play Sanitarium!

Get them on GOG and not Steam.
Steam has better sale prices but GOG has the whole
series and includes the original versions of the first two games.

I would suggest playing the original version of Shadow of the Templars before playing The Director's Cut as well.
