I watch the series and I have read one of the books ( I prefer the series because I associate faces to the names, in the books everything is such a blur because of the sheer amount of characters) so... yeah. I would love to give it a spin. :)

Ah, alright :) Many people say it's pretty good, I just know that basically everyone dies somehow lol but I've never had the time to look into it. Also another big 'problem' for me is that because I don't live in an English-speaking country, the series isn't in English on TV and well, I seriously hate watching originally English-speaking stuff in another language, so I would have to watch all of it on the internet and our internet connection sucks most of the time, so I don't think I'll check it out in the near future ^^'

No no, it's ok. :) I live in Greece and here our TV subs most of the foreign shows (apart form low budget Brazilian soap operas and the likes, they dub those but nobody cares :P) so you can hear the actors and everything.

Well - i understand you. In poland we have usually subs or some dude reading translation (lector?). Every time I hear how those dubbed things sounds... My ears are bleeding. Germany/French overuse dubbing imho, wonder how is it in other countries :)

Ha! Same here - animated films are even better with dubbing. They usually dub them playing with words - kids do not see second meaning, but adults also can have fun while watching. I'm talking about for example Shreck - in orginal it looked just like tale for kids, with dubbing - completelly different moovie :)

That's really unfortunate, although as someone who's read both the books and watched the show I'd highly recommend trying to find the books translated into your native language. Much better, imho:) Not entering the GA because I actually bought the game for myself since I've enjoyed ASOIAF for many years, but thanks for giving others a chance to win.
