Yeah very cool. This one seems even more luxurious though.

Hmmm Dont know much about having pets. But I think the transparent one is better.. Looks more solid and the transparent view might put the kitty at ease. This one seems huge, might be overwhelming for a kitten. Also Fabric material might not inspire confidence? idk
And it seems better for a little dog rather than a cat🤔

It doesn't matter how much money or effort or discomfort you invest in having a cat or dog. What you get in return is more than worth it.
Unless you get one of those devil-posessed tetrapod that appear with Damien and The Devil Wears Fluffy Prada.
About the transport box, think of what will be more comfortable for her. Think that females are much smaller than males (my cat was specially small and the vet always mentioned she was one of the smallest adult cats he saw). See how much horizontal area there is to put a blanket and let her have a nap during transport. Surely the transparent areas will make it sound like it will give her things to look at, but comfort should be first IMHO.
I bet this weekend you'll be dancing on your toes.

Yeah i think you are right, i am just not feeling it yet, but that probably happens when it arrives, it's still all in my head now offcourse, and sometimes a friend says i see the bears on the road.
It was a gimmick shown by that same friend, i only go out for groceries and already have enough weight there, but yeah maybe a trip to the vet it can be handy or just go out and have a ride in nature.
Or stepping on my toes trying to avoid not stepping on the little one that will do it's own thing.

Cats LOVE being out near plants and stuff to smell, but they sometimes HATE the collar and leash. I've seen cats going to their owners asking to be put the collar, specially with a jingle bell. The leash is a matter of patience and let them know that it's part of the experience if they want to be outdoors around new cool stuff.

What age do you start with a leash? They first need to get shots i assume? and i dunno when.
She her royal princess i mean Snowie will get a whole balcony for herself (i am behind the pc anyway), eventually i hope to get some money for plants/trees, although it's already july, summer is going quickly over again already. (and we had a very long winter).
I hate getting all the cold in and out each time letting her on the balcony (and to what temperature?) but it's all glass, besides any renovations you make you also have to put back, so a cat door isn't an option.
Are there are also specials plants or stuff that they extra love?
I mean i really offer things myself, but my mom is like i fix it all, she even goes with her scootmobile to the nearest vet (closeby) to get her chipped but because she arrives there first, she first potty train her the first day.
Not really sure how the rest of the stuff will happen because my sis is so selfish as what with her whole daycare and after my moms stroke she just went on her holiday.. We got this plastic moving case thing, but i don't want to risk riding with that on my bike, suppose it falls over a bump or it's not sturdy enough or the cat moves too much.
So many downsides not having a car or license, actually i had my dads car both expecting i will get my license but that never came.

Wait until she's adult size, about 1 year. If she's small, as I think she will probably be, a harness might be a better option but maybe she'll hate it. Mine didn't move until we took off the harness from her.
My transport box was made entirely of stuffed, padded fabric, with a small rack for viewing in one side - but she was lying comfortable despite movement and strange/scary noises in the subway. However she associated it with going to the vet, so she would run if she saw it. If you use the transport box for carrying her to other places she'll like it and even maybe use it as a bed.
I'm curious, how many comments have you answered related to Snowie? I'm scared of counting them! Everyone wishing you the best with her and giving endless advices based on experience (but every cat is different, so... but we do it with best intentions).

I will first keep her inside until i get the balcony fixed then she can stay there for the summer, just maybe she allows me to sit next to her using my steamdeck. Then i'll look into transportation.
But my mom was like her cats will always stay in, she didn't wanted dead animals, scared of other cats/dogs, traffic and suddenly after they are 2 years she lets them outside. One got something though, was quiet for a few days.
Yeah but again i only got a bike, i don't feel it's safe, did you use one on a bike or all car?
I am not keeping score. :p I dunno, i just find it kind from people, and only polite back to answer all of them. :)
And while some tips are more useful then others, i still take everything under consideration and appreciate them.

I have no car either, and it's a real disadvantage if you have cat or dog. I always used the subway, thus I got a suitcase/bagagge box, with a handle for one hand. For you ofc the solution is a backpack type, I only described mine as example of what I said: I consider comfort first, and the fact that the cat can be entertained or scared with a great view is only secondary to that.

Or you got long subways or not everything is the neighbourhood.
Yeah, we got everything in the same town luckily, even a vet for people for a low income, so everything is doable with a bike (although it's really windy and rainy a lot), so a backpack would be the solution.
But what someone else said you must also be weary of accidents (or it's just time to go) that things also should be easy to clean.
Thanks for your comments and interest.

I have a cat backpack that looks like this, I have a very big cat, he is 6½ kg and a simple backpack is too small for him.
Didn't use it yet outside, inside he seemed to enjoy sitting in it! Just be sure to try it out and take small steps so the cat gets used to it, don't just dump it in and walk half a day since that would be way to stressful for them!

Yes, it's a bit more heavy and for a small cat I don't think it's needed, but for a very big cat like my Beau I didn't want him crammed in a small space for too long.
I never got myself to actually test it outside since right now I have someone who can drive me but again, inside he loves the bag, but he likes to sit in bags/buckets/washing machine, etc. (not a huge box fan though...)
Checked just now and the brand of the one I have is Trixie, which is a typical animal stuff brand, but I know multiple brands have bags like that, also looked for a shoulder bag for him, but sadly these were all too small, it's what you prefer.

Thanks, don't think this one looks bad either and a bit similar.
But first cat has to come, first getting accustomed to eachother, then balcony, then we are already a month or longer away to think about transportation (and save up again).

Well, not sure what breed it is, but I assume you saw a mom/parents so if it will be a 3k or so cat, a L bag might not even be needed since if it's too big it can also be hard, at least I know that if you need to 'lock' an animal, if the place is too big they can also act weird and becomes scared faster, so a place that is 'just right' would be best, but you will have to see, I think a bag like that is great for stuff like vet visits and such, that's why I got mine, so I can go by bike with him.
Bit first things first, enjoy your new kitten when it arrives and get used to each other!

No idea either, but too small like a plastic travel box they will place their paws beside the door and refuse to let themself i, one of my moms cats does that, but i forced him in once. :p
I have seen pictures of the mom (all sorts of colors) she had this very look like, you taking my babies away from me?
Was kinda sad, it's also a shame the other one i wanted was apparently sick and thus became such a financial burden on medical costs which wouldn't be possible for me.
Thank you!
But i warn her! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpBBA_Pso88&ab_channel=KPN

Best advice I can give you, is keep the traveling box always in the room, many people only grab it when needed which makes the cat very stressed, I have it in the room all the time and sometimes he even lies in it on his own, it's his smaller hiding place he sometimes enjoys, that was going to the vet or whatever is way less stressful since they are used to seeing the box, can help a lot!

Why not just a collar/harness and a leash instead?
Also, even if used to such backpack, I would carefully check its build having in mind, that even out of boredom the cat my tear it to pieces very fast (they do have sharp claws, you know).
Another issue: how easily cleanable it is.
The pink one seems to me most likely less practical in both aspects.

Because then they would still walk outside with all it's problems (other cats, dogs (and some really got big ones here), bugs like fleas, i dunno. My mom gave me a leash, i got one in case.
That bag was more a gimmick shown by a friend, i don't go to many places except doing groceries, and those loads are already enough weight without a cat, it might be easy though if i ever need a trip to a vet or something.
But you make good points.

Or the adventures of a cat with a man. They are inseperable.

Oh, that's really exceptional and heartwarming. I have my own recommendation of course: the excellent "The Adventures of Fat Freddy's Cat" by Gilbert Shelton. I bought it in a comic book shop in Amsterdam and what do you know? The shop is featured in one of the comics in the books.

What do you know? Suddenly i do have a cat giveaway (thanks again btw for the donators in the other thread).
Sunday/monday the cat is now supposed to be coming, the anxiety part though really starts to grow, my mom repeatedly said do you want the cat? Offcourse i am in love with the cat and say yes, and it's so easy to stay in your comfort zone of not having the cat issues around it (litterbox, costs, long weekend away if you meet someone) but i think it's really much better to get out of it, and have a companion.
