After seeing a bunch os threads complaining about Valve and noticing a lot of familiar faces in the last few Steam posts. I already knew that Valve can do anything because they are a monopoly, but I've realized that we, as a group, have contributed a lot to maintain Valve's monopoly.

It's true in my experience, at least. After joining steamgifts I almost stopped using other platforms even though I was a big GOG fan. I had (and still have) a nice Uplay account with a bunch of Ubi games and a few games on Origin and B.NET too. However, I haven't bought a game in any of those platforms after joining SG.

  1. Did you have a similar experience? I know we're not big enough to actually have a lot of impact, but a bunch of people here are big spenders.
  2. I also know that we're STEAMgifts, but would you like to have the option to create GAs for gog, uplay, origin or b.net games?
  3. Do feel like we could help fight against Steam's Monopoly if we were given the choice above?

If you read everything, have a high5! Let's discuss and try to avoid drama, I don't want another thread closed by Jatan. (。◕‿◕。)

Ps: There is a hidden GA here. game is Super Rude Bear Resurrection. lvl 1+
