Got these all, sorry.
Nope. Too expensive for me.
Don't like Grand Strategy / 4X.
All in for charity!

and

I'm pretty happy with it since I don't have Majesty 2 or EUIII, but I get your points. The DLC for Pillars would have been nice, even in T3

Edit: Looks like I only have the base Hearts of Iron as well, so this is a very nice bundle for me. I like to have "complete" game even if I never touch the DLC.

Exactly. This bundle is disappointing on so many levels...

There is a difference between a disappointing bundle and a bundle that's disappointing for you. I really don't get it. Locked at 4.1€, that's 2 beers where I live. Even for people who buy monthlies, Stellaris was over 6 months ago, POE over 4. You expect to never see them bundled again? Those bundles had some amazing other games as well and you're still the one that's deciding to buy 'random' games. The amount of negativity in these bundle topics blows my mind tbh

Dont get me wrong. I love Paradox games (I own almost all of them) but I absolutely hate their DLC policy and pricing. This bundle is a trap. Those games without DLCs are like a week old bread with nothing on it.

Not true at all. Vanilla CK II is worth hundreds of unique gameplay hours.

Tens maybe, but not hundreds. Remember that vanilla has everyone except the boring christians locked away, doesn't allow playing republics, and doesn't have the cool start dates.

but with the old gods included, you at least get to play as the vikings and the earlier start of 897. I originally got ck2 base and with just the base game I've got like 30-50 hours, and you can get that much since from 1066-1453 it can take awhile to finish a game.

I then bought my first DLC The Old Gods since wanted to play as the viking rulers and to have the game start earlier... and here and there during the various team sales I managed to collect or get some of the dlc. Even though people always get angry or mad at paradox's dlc policy a thing is though that a lot if not most of the games do get free updates so like CK2 isn't like how it was day one if you say only own the base game.

And you don't need all the DLC to enjoy it, like for me I don't own the sword of islam expansion and that could almost people say restrict half the game since all I can play is catholic, pagan, but for me that is the only type of people I like to play, so you only need DLC for those that you plan on playing. But granted there could be some DLC that is more required that adds quality of life features to flesh the game out more.

Tens? Come on, you know better than that 😜

I hear what you’re saying, I simply disagree. I feel like I’ve gotten way more than my money’s worth. I have spent much more on other experiences and received much, much less in return. Dollar for dollar, CK II is a solid deal any way you slice it. 1,700 hours in and I’m still not bored.

a trap? no, it absolutely isn't. it is a promotion, like every humble bundle since the beginning. it is a trade off. you have at least two different things to offer - your potential as a customer (maybe you buy DLC) and you raising awareness of those games by buying them, playing them and having them in your account. you trade that for high value games for a low price. and honestly, that's exactly what you get here. aside from the tier 1 stuff you get Crusader Kings 2 with a 15$ Expansion, Pillars of Eternety, EU3 with all/most DLC and HoI3 with all/most DLC - all that for 5$. how is that not good value? and how can you complain about lack of DLC when there's clearly an abundance of DLC in that bundle? yes, they don't have every DLC for every game in the bundle. but they really have a lot of DLC in it.

aside from that, i agree with the doc. Paradox games might related heavily on DLC, sure. but that doesn't mean the vanilla versions are worthless by any means. i don't have too much experience with their games, but i can tell you i had a good 30-40 hours of fun with Stellaris. and i am sure i could have had 100+ hours easily (i just went on to the next game quickly, like i always do, but that wasn't the game's fault). Stellaris vanilla is worth its asking price, and it's definitely worth a partial price of this bundle. and i am sure you can say the same thing about CK2 or HoI3.

As someone that has sunk countless hours into Eu3, Eu4, original CK, CK 2 and both HoI3 and HoI4 and of course Victoria 2, I have to say that these games are hardly worth the money without the expansions. I havent played Stellaris nor Pillars, so I will take your word for that and I am glad that is the case. It is also good to mention that there are some amazing mods for these games out there (CK, EU and HoI especially).

Friend paid 4.1€ for T2, say what you want but that's a total steal. Already worth it for for pillars on it's own imo. HOI3 en EUIII come as collection, I honestly don't see what you're expecting for < 4.5€? Crusader and pillars with their respective DLC's as well? They maybe could have added something to T3 but T2 is sharp as fuck.

Single key, activated as Majesty 2 Collection Retail (ROW), which is apparently an entirely different appID: 25980 is the old base game with DLCs available to buy separately, 73020 is the collection with all DLCs included.
