This is generally true with all games sold on the humble store, but some times buying on steam is more preferable because, one might have the steam wallet money to pay for the game but not any money to pay for it in the other methods on the humble store.

But that' not the Humble store, or any bundle site for that matter...
AtzeMD is saying that things in the Humble store usually end up in bundles if they haven't already, and are cheaper when bundled. I bought Anodyne by itself from the Humble store and it's in a bundle now, so it's cheaper now.

Comparing the Humble Store to Steam Store at the moment, Humble is offering it for $6 USD, whereas Steam is offering it for $5.99USD or $17.99USD for a 4-pack. A penny might not matter but it's cheaper on Steam itself if you want multiple copies and can't wait for a bundle.
