This is whole lot better than Steam repeatedly charging more for a bundle compared to buying the games separately.
Seriously though, amazon has been pretty much besting the deals, in digital distribution at least, for quite a while. They seem to be pricematching sales that run on Steam, and having sales of their own weekly or maybe this is due to devs/publishers pushing games, either way.
For people living outside the US this is awesome, we can buy games for $ from amazon while we have to pay € for Steam. Take for example the Sims 3 sale I can buy it from Steam for €15,29 or from amazon for $10.19 which is about €7. Granted, I do lean towards having all my games on Steam, if I can help it, but sometimes the deals are just too good. Rant over, thank you.
