Each publisher has their own deal, but it seems as though you can't mix and match. It is not that bad of a deal really, but i think i'll keep my money for the winter sale.

Also, no coupon codes are working right now with them.

2k bundle now has Bioshock infinite, brave new world, and stronghold collection.

Borderlands 2 is a nice price if you get 5 games. Just $5.

Gamefly sucks -.-
$25 for 5 Games is ok but in Europe you have to pay there in £ and the 5 Games cost £21.00 and thats $34.37 no good deal at all -.-

oh come on just look at the 2k games. A Bioshock and Bioshock 2 bundle cost about $9.99, a Borderlands GOTY and Borderlands 2 bundle is $11.99 at Amazon and i'm pretty sure you get one of the other games for less than $12

Actually the Bioshock 1+2 pack has been going for $5 on Amazon sales and the triple pack was $15 on black friday

Do you buy the games on GameFly then redeem them on Steam, or does GameFly have its own game manager?

Most give either steam, uplay, or origin keys.

Thanks for the reply. Is there anyway of telling which they will give?

EDIT: Nevermind found it. Just go to the game page and it will say "Requires __ (Steam Client, uPlay, etc.) to play."

Region restricted. If someone from US buy this, will I be able to redeem them on my steam?

That's what I'm curious about, it says you can't buy it if not in those areas but doesn't say the all important 'redeeming' Anyone happen to know?

If I could mix and match, this would be a great bundle opportunity.

Not too great. Prices aren't really that special in the end and most games are quite unappealing...

Borderlands Goty
Borderlands 2
NBA2K13
Bioshock 1
Bioshock 2

= 18€

if you buy on steam you pay exactly 130€, so yhea, i think it's a good deal.

Comment has been collapsed.

21£ that is 25€...

And then just need to consider if you want all those games and has they been about same price before...

Borderlands 2 is just painful to play now, no FOV slider and BL2 is much better... NBA is basketball game... Bioshock 1 and 2 are ok console shooters, but I already own BS1 somewhere...

BS1+2 5€
BL Goty 7,5
BL 2 7,5
NBA 7,5

2,5€ save over previous STEAM sales. And there is probably been better offers than those...

Ok if someone bought Bioshock 1 for 15€ you would say he made a great deal cause it cost 20€ on Steam? Even if you can buy it on nearly every online store and in retail stores for 5€-10€?

Implying the steam store price is equivalent to the value of the games.

Shame that Portal 2 is region restricted. I don't feel like fooling around with proxies. Could've gone for Portal 2, DoD:S, and the Orange Box otherwise.

The Ubisoft one might have been decent if not for the fact that it gives you Uplay keys

As far as 2K Games goes, all of those games either have been or are likely to be in Amazon megadeals/megabundles for the holidays that are cheaper

As far as I'm concerned, all (or at least most) the Ubisoft games on Steam use Uplay so it doesn't really make that much difference...

Comment has been collapsed.

Yeah, I'm not sure how it works if you buy their games on Steam though. I was thinking maybe at worst you would still have to sign in to your Uplay account but not have to actually use the Uplay client.

If a game on Steam requires Uplay, then you have to launch and sign into Uplay to play (as far as I know). However, I heard that you can simply use the Uplay client to launch the game and not have to open Steam.

You do have to use the Uplay client.

If Ubisoft had a cheaper bundle, that'd be tempting as I'm pretty interested in Driver SF... The 2K one looks really nice, but I've got all the games I'm really interested in from them. Thanks for sharing though.

thanks for sharing. It seems that EA bundle is pretty solid, Valve bundle is good, 2K bundle is ok, Rock star bundle is average. But UBI and Square Enix bundles suck.

There is any combination that worth it? I can't find any comparable to any previous sale of each of those games.

I'd say if you can get the games you want at 80% off or more, you're probably getting pretty close to or the best the price has been if the game is priced 20 or more, there's a few exceptions (bioshock 1-2 come to mind) but it should give you a good guide, with the new extras to the 2k bundle, I'd say that's the best one, valve one isn't bad if you get 20 dollar games.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I see it in pounds and believe me, the best you can get is 3x1. If you don't want crap or games that has been ultra cheap. And 3x1 means only 66% off. Those games have at least got that sale without having to purchase 3+ so the deal isn't very good.

I tried getting the bundle but it asked me to verify with a phone number and it wouldn't accept it so now I have to wait for support... But I'm pretty happy with the bundle I got, Brave New World, Infinite, Mafia II: Digital Deluxe, Spec Ops and Darkness II.

Thinking Bioshock infinite, Borderlands 2, Civ V: BNW, And Xcom:EU

Don't know what a good 5th game would be though. Maybe stronghold collection?
