When i bought GTA 3 (the old one :) on the Steam Web-shop, i got both a PC and a Mac version. I would recommend buying it from there!

The only games that i know of that have separate mac and pc versions are the call of duty games. As far as i know all other games on steam that have a mac and pc version are together.

if the game is steamplay and that mac store offers you clearly a steam key, you can go for it. on the contrary it could be a digital download (or whatever else) and you'd be out of luck.

Basically I'm running with a problem here. I'm wondering, if I will buy a game, that's on Steam and supports both Mac AND PC, but I will buy it from shop that consider's it "for Mac only" though its just a steam key, will I also be able to use it on my PC?
Thanks for any help though.
