No PayPal. Right now, my cash consists of Steam wallet, and any online purchases I do use a prepaid Visa gift card which doesn't seem to like PayPal.

Tried the demo? I found it quite enjoyable myself.

Hope you enjoy it. Nearly out of time for this sale after all.

Here's a topic full of people explaining why they enjoyed it, if the demo alone doesn't do it for you.

Yeah, I was sure I wouldn't enjoy it either. Traded a copy for some leftover bundle keys and thought I would just let it idle for the cards. Over 6 hours played and I don't feel like stopping anytime soon.

This is almost exactly what I wrote in the recommendations section on my steam profile like 5 days ago.
Picked this up during a super cheap sale, My first thoughts were 'looks like some crappy generic tower defense flash game. I'll juyst run through and pick up the card drops'...
16 hours later and I'm still playing the game. I can't stop. This game is so goddamn great.

hmmm I've got 9 hours to consider this one now...
Edit: Downloading the demo now

Warning: this game isnt suitable for kids
Game content:
Requires decent reading skills (10+ years)
Requires basic strategic thinking (10+ years)
No sexual content (other than shirtless berserkers)
A somewhat gloomy setting and back-story
Just Kidding :3

Wow this is a terrible game. I hope it gets an AO rating.

I like their EULA better.

Why have I never seen an EULA spell things out the way theirs does?

Shit... I bought it because I confused it with Dungeon Defenders. I already have Defenders Quest (which is an incredible game by the way)
So here's a giveaway for it because I'm an idiot: http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/Iw9Yo/defenders-quest-valley-of-the-forgotten

Silly idiots are how Steamgifts makes half of our giveaways. <3 We love you.

If anyone wants it for Desura, here is a key for it ZQ0KI-PJ0JK-ZOVE3-WLYQH-6CD2G

I ended up buying the game. Decided it's worth doing it since all the money goes to them and that helps me feel better about myself. Plus both GOG and Steam codes.
I'm not really sure about the cards and profit parts. The ??? part is definitely part of the deal, applying to whether I'll end up actually playing the game.

Now that's enough to get me to bite. All those keys and bonuses, plus low requirements. Perfect since I'm waiting on my parts to get here to fix my main machine and I'm on a rather weak laptop. I wouldn't mind something new to pass the time and stop me from staring at all my unplayable games (which is most of them :| ). lol Thanks for the heads up!

It still says "Sale ends in 3 hours!"
Well, that's one way to promote a sale: make the customer believe that it's a very limited time frame or a very limited stock.
Anyway, I hope some can use this information and get the game now, while it's still on sale, I for my part will probably have to wait till it's in a bundle, because I currently have no budget for games.
Cheers =)

Oh, didn't know that. I assumed the title was the same since you created the thread ;)

Yes. I completely forgot about the last sale until it was too late. Thank you, forgetful developers!

Depends on you. You can crank the EXP/Scrap gain up to 300% in the menu and play entirely on casual to speedrun the game. A normal playthrough probably takes about 10-20 hours for most people.
Me personally? My save file says I've sunk 46 hours and 9 minutes into the game. I have:
So 100%ing the game (which is fairly enjoyable) will probably take around 40 hours if you love 100%ing games.

I hope you don't hold it against him. =( It was a slip of his mind that this had been set up on GOG a while back.

went ahead and bought it :D thanks for letting us knw

Ha, so I was right in a way, when I said they're making the customers believe that there's a limited "window of opportunity".

Like they said, they signed onto this deal with GoG months in advance. They aren't plotting this right here and now, every developer on GoG signs onto the mega-sales well in advance. They just automatically price-match any sale through the main website.
They're not trying to trick you. :P It starts when the GoG sale is active and ends when the GoG sale ends.

Purchase through Humble Bundle
Play the demo here or download the demo on Steam
A huge topic on Steam of people giving their reccomendations of it
If you buy Defender's Quest here, this is what you get:
So a week ago this was only 66% off and the developer said that it was unlikely to be any cheaper than that for a long time. So this came as a surprise to me. =/ Fortunately he explains why this is happening:
Yeah, terribly sorry about this. What happened was we set this deal up with GOG months ago and I entirely forgot about it, so I said that in good faith but in bad memory. I had no intention of doing another sale lower than 67% for quite some time, but it's our policy to price-match Steam/GOG sales when they go up, so... sorry about that.
Sorry if anyone missed out on a few bucks :/
So I guess due to an old GOG deal, if you didn't get DQ a week ago, you can get it now for a dollar cheaper. Thankfully a dollar isn't too much.
