Pan's Labyrinth(aka Labyrinth of Faun), it has 98 Metascore, that film is worse than utter crap.

I was gonna say Da Vinci Code, but it has 46 Metascore, fair imo, it was the worst book based movie I watched, just complete trash, the book was very good though.

nolans batman films. I'm happy to admit they were technically well made films, and they were ok to watch, but i just found them so... i dont know.. dry? I could watch them and feel like I was entertained for 2'ish hours, and didn't hate them or anything, but I was never WOWED by them in the same way others were.

also frozen. I dont get the love for that movie. I love animated films, I love family films, but I really disliked frozen which surprised me, because I adore pixar movies, and dreamworks and disney movies in general are great, but I just couldn't enjoy frozen. I know i didn't have a problem with the film having heroic female leads, I know it wasn't because of the singing (though perhaps it was the songs themselves I wasn't fond of)... again, the film just didnt gel with me, it never had any impact or wowed me in any way... was so disappointed.

finally, gravity. beautifully shot and amazingly well choreographed and edited, but the film was so dumb, and the character was so unlikeable. I would have loved the film so much more if the entire film played out in her mind as she was spinning lost in space with her oxygen running out, but the fact everything impossible happened so effortlessly, was just annoying and frustrating... seriously, who knew space was so easy :D

I get bored out of my grape watching a Coen brothers movie. I've tried a lot of them over the years, even multiple times, and it just never gets interesting or funny.

As far as Blade Runner, I've seen it a couple of times and never liked it. And I love sci-fi. Although, it's been a few years, so perhaps I'll like it better as an adult. I don't think I've seen it since my late teens (like 16 years ago).

  1. Batman Begins - I understand that after Batman and Robin, Batman fans would have praised anything that was even remotely watchable, but come on...it's not nearly as good as Batman 1989. Did we actually need another origin story? Plus, the end is very rushed. With a title like this and with the aim it had(not to mention that the first 2/3 are vastly better than the last 1/3), Batman as we know him should not even have appeared in this film until the very last seconds.

  2. The Dark Knight Rises - I really don't understand how people were able to get past all the idiotic bullshit in this movie, like Bruce having his back fixed with one fucking swing of the wrist :|

  3. Pulp Fiction - it's great, i love it, don't get me wrong, but ffs, it's not the best movie in history, like its cult following of people would have us believe

  4. Gone with the Wind - it's jut so fucking boooooooring....

  5. American Beauty - far from being a bad movie, but there's no way in hell it deserved the Oscar over Fight Club (a.k.a best movie IN HISTORY)

  6. 300 - it's just mindless style over substance, a la Zack Snyder... Just like Sucker Punch. Why did this movie get a pass and others, such as Man of Steel and Watchmen(which are ten times more profound) didn't?

  7. Star Wars Episode V The Empire strikes Back - Ok...before everyone starts cursing at me and accusing me of blasphemy, it is a great movie, almost a masterpiece. HOWEVER...it is NOT the best Star Wars movie. That title should rightfully go to return of The Jedi, Ewoks and all.

  8. Citizen Kane - it's good, sure, but best movie EVER? Yeah, right.

  9. Night of the Living Dead (1968 original classic) - I'll never get why this movie got a cult following. I don't get why people love zombie movies so much, actually

  10. Dallas Buyers Club - it's ok, but not as great as critics said

  11. Most Fast and Furious movies - I like them, don't get me wrong, but people seem to forget what these are: REALLY DUMB action movies with cheesy lines which constantly defy all the laws of physics and biology. They do their job well for what they are, but come one, people...stupid and fun is still stupid.

  12. Rocky 4 - I don't know why this movie got a pass. It may not be as bad as Rocky 5, but it too is kind of not good. And all the 'murica vs Russia cold war propaganda bullshit really wore down my nerves. Dolph Lundgren isn't even Russian and his accent was TERRIBLE. Also, turning a sports movie into some kind of lame attempt at a revenge movie was a really stupid idea. Not like Apollo was avenged or anything, just because Rocky beat that guy in a boxing match. It wasn't even his fault that Apollo died, shit happens in the ring.

  13. The Departed - it's ok, but Scorsese has had MUCH BETTER films than this. It's like all of Hollywood, as well as the public, is kissing his ass for denying him all those Oscars in the 70s and 80s ;-p

  14. Ted - why, oh why was this movie so terribly not funny? Its premise was HILARIOUS... How did this get a pass and A Million Ways to Die in the West didn't? It was just as bad, if you ask me.

  15. Happy Gilmore - it's a lot more watchable than most of Adam Sandler's comedies, but can someone actually say that Adam Sandler has a comedy that can actually be called "good"?

  16. Troy - wasn't that impressed by it. Also, it kind of butchered Homers classic

  17. The entire Twilight saga - I know everyone with half a brain tore this series a new ass-hole (and rightfully so), but the incredible success that these movies have had leads me to believe that most of the worlds movie goers are fucking imbeciles.

  18. Fifty Shades of Grey - like Twilight, but much, much worse, because it doesn't even have that "so bad, it's good because of how funny it is" element to it. It's just unbearable...

  19. Bridesmaids - it's good and funny for a chick-flick, but at the end of the day, it's still a god damn chick-flick. At least boyfriends dragged into cinemas for this one didn't feel the need to kill themselves, like with so many others. But the critics kissed this movies ass way too much.

  20. The Matrix - is it really as good as everyone remembers? I'd say not. It's not even that original, actually...

  21. Transformers movies - everyone keeps saying how bad they are and yet the cinema theaters constantly get the tickets sold out on every showing. I don't get this hypocrisy. Although there are some who admit they like it. Why, oh why could ANYONE like these movies? Apart from the first one, which is ok, the rest are horrendous.

Citizen Kane is considered artistically the best movie of all time, not as entertainment. The stuff Welles pulled off with cinematography and directing was decades ahead of his time, this is why it is considered the best. Just like how Hitchcock is now considered one of the greatest directors, even though he wasn't exactly a popular one, or appreciated in his time.
But in general, not Citizen Kane but the Godfather trilogy is what is usually considered the all-around best movie (trilogy) of all time.
