I won a giveaway but i cant activate the gift

Steam says the gift is already activated but i dont have the game in my library
. What can i do?

Like, an inventory gift? I had that problem yesterday. Try it again in a few minutes.

If it continues for longer, contact the gifter and ask them to resend it.

it's steam key right? contact the giveaway creator and ask for valid key. If he cannot provide it in 7 days of the end of the giveaway, then mark it as not recieved.

I had the same problem a couple of times.
For me waiting + restarting Steam helped most of the time. If not ask the giveaway creator and ask them to send the gift again.
