Game uses that old simplistic 2AP combat (2 actions, move or shoot) chestnut, if that's your thing. The first 2/3 of the story are good, but it descends into stupid at the end. There's a certain sense that the ending was rushed, since the ideas could have been done well, but none of the ending ideas are fleshed out.

Dragonfall is better, mostly for story. The combat has some slight improvements.

Thanks! gonna pick it up I think. It'll likely end up bundled at that price-point. Thats what usually happens. But for $1 (ru) cant pass that up.

It was bundled, but as a third tier title on Humble, it was $12, up from about $6 for the BTA.

Discount error?
It is only supposed to be 80% off, right?

Nah, it's been 80% all sale, now Shadow Run is on features. So it makes sense.

Just and FYI, the director's cut has different endings and such. It's not exactly the same game.

Are you talking about the Dragonfall expansion? or is there another version of Shadowrun Returns that I'm not aware of?

Only spent £0.39 so far this sale, can't resist this as a little impulse buy.

Eh, I don't like turn based games. :/ Kind of want to get it to flip it for a profit but been burned before thinking I could make a tiny profit trading a game that was on steep discount. I think surely someone will buy this for 2 Tods, but nope.

Game is good enough to not need that kind of discount for attention. Oh well, enjoy it!
