Maybe you just increased the value of your first purchase?

Well, that I do not know.. could be, if there is such an option. I did the second purchase on another day and my web browser also deletes all cookies, when I close it. There is no way to check it either, I presume. At least now I know that there is such an option and I will pay more attention next time I buy some bundles.

I think there's a "one bundle per user" policy, unless you bought the full bundle as a gift.
As linkenetworx already stated, I also think you simply upgraded your first purchase to a BTA bundle.
That's probably also the reason why they say you have to buy the bundle as a gift during Happy Hour.
To be sure, you will have to contact their support ;)

No, this thread is not about bundles and contribution values ;)
Problem:
I bought Indie Gala Magicka Bundle below average (to get Trine, activated it also right away)
Then later I bought the full bundle
Today I gave the "other" Trine key ,which are on my profile page at indiegala.com, to my friend, but it turns out it is the same key that came with my first (below aerage) purchase of that bundle. So there is no second key, although I payed twice and I should have 2 Trine keys (since Trine was included in below average and in full bundle). Or am I missing something and there is some kind of one key per user policy?
