So today 3 Russian accounts with low level, open profile, games that were given for free in account, and in comments it's posted "+rep" and trade offer link, less than 1 year account.

I know bots are an issue, but these seems more of scam bots, so if you are trading and see something like that, immediately block them, and maybe someone knows that source from where they get our names? I don't think they search manually.

also since I made a thread, some ninjas have work.

You, and everyone else, should report every single one so they rise to top of priority list on Steam Support site.

But you can kill the scammers in your motherland to stop giving Ruskies a bad name. That's what I'd do. Putin allows it.

Its not racist. "Russian" is not a race. It's xenophobic.

Nah, can't agree with this.

Definitely don't add the 0-5 levels with virtually no games regardless of where they're from, but there are a lot of fantastic Russian people on Steam, great traders etc.

another tried to add me, with 24 games, and non russian name, but still from russia, so I just blocked. I was not expecting anyone and less suspicious russian guys adding me :/ with no groups, no friends in common, nothing.

I've had a lot today, too. It can't be a coincidence that the increase in unwelcome invites aligns with the end of the school year for many broke kids.

Same bot or guy added me 3 times with same message, level 4 and games, friends and comments. So much to "I won't add people with a lower level than 2" etc.

Was reading this 15 minutes ago. 2 minutes ago I received a friend request from a Russian level 5 with 16 games on the account, one of which is CS:GO. No groups or friends in common etc.

Someone with a SG account just called him a phisher on his profile page, lol. I don't know if they're adding people from here or what.

Ive had a few add me too today. I dont even bother, just block. My profile states the conditions under which I accept random adds and I normally don't deviate from that.

I noticed increase in level 2-3 scam bots with several games on their accounts(most have CS:GO). They have open profiles, and often adjust their country, to be such as the person who they're trying to attack. Probably accounts of unawary newbies who got scammed, and now their accounts are being used to do the same.
