Yes, because I'm of the opinion of not giving a crap what type of game it is, but of the quality of it. I have never been disappointed by the quality of a Valve game. Yes, I want L4D3. Good thing it's already confirmed.

Okay, I think people didn't understand my post. I was actually joking, I love L4D2... oh well.

Where was it confirmed?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It was accidentally leaked, along with Source 2. Someone took a photo of an internal global changelog.

I saw that, that's not confirmation of any sort. Obviously, it seems real enough, but who says VALVe didn't set that up? I can't see them being foolish enough to leave stuff like that lying around while visitors are lurking the building.

And plus, what does "confirmed" mean anyway? We always knew they were making another L4D game - the series is profitable, so of course they would.

Yes, because Valve is going to purposefully lie about it and get people's hopes up. That's a winning strategy. ಠ_ಠ

Shit happens, I don't think they were intending for that photo to be taken. I don't think the guy who took it knew what was on it until later either.

I would say no, but since we are talking about L4D-L4D2, the greatest zombie game ever made; I would give a shot to L4D3, that's for sure. :D

Generic would not be a word that I would use to describe the Left 4 Dead games. But to each his own I guess...

I guess we will be able to play our games with our TV's being our monitors and a controller being our mouse. Not that we can't atm, it's just that Big Picture doesn't support 100% controllers.

And maybe, just maybe, Steam will release a controller, that will be compatible with at least 90% of Valve's games.

Correct me if I'm wrong please.

It's the only controller I could still pick over a mouse and keyboard. The massive chunks of plastic that are modern day controllers are awful.

How so? I never particularly liked controllers like that.

The simplicity.

L2/R2 buttons give me arthritis and steering sticks suck donkey balls. But... just call me old fashioned.

I hear you, but also think 3 buttons would lack a bit of functionality and versatility.

What TreadLife said. I think that may be part of my issues with Ye Olde controllers, the fact that it limited game complexity (not that simple games are bad, to clarify). Personally, thumbsticks are beautiful to my mind, with the right controller like the Xbox 360 one, but other controllers... jeez. I'll admit, I've never held one, but I just can't wrap my mind around the N64 controller, even after so many years.

So they are coming out with a steam console? hardware like a steam xbox or something?

If that's the case. I'm definitely not interested...

Seems that steam just want's to get a foothold in the console industry. To get a piece of the proverbial pie.. $$$.

I don't even use big picture. I still use old interface when i'm on my TV. Then simply pick up gamepad when i want to play a controller capable game on my tv.

OP is just guessing, none knows what it is yet (AFAIK), but my guess is it's Steambox too.

I ll make a steel box fill it with water, put it over a fire ,then in top of this box ill put an other steel box and the two of those boxes are gonna be connected with a tube. The top box will gather all the steam and i ll have my own steam box.

I can also add a valve to control the steam flow.

Valve should create some widi(wireless display transmitting) hardware if they're gonna do this big picture thing. Some people don't like have a 40ft hdmi cable running over their carpet.

I used to connect my PC to my TV about 10 years ago or so with a pair of 12ft AV cables connected together running along the walls, out of site more or less, around the room from my PC to TV
