Thanks, I didn't know that was a thing, but several people have now suggested it. Since yours was the first comment I'm just going to follow up here.
Do people who do that normally say that they are going to do that? Because without knowing that it can some as quite a surprise, and the winner can't even check the giveaway afterwards, or ask the giver. Also, blacklists work both ways (I understand this wasn't always the case), so I guess people who do this don't care that they can't enter the winners' giveaways? Seems like a strange practice to me, but of course people are free to use their blacklists however they like. C'est la vie.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. As the people above said, that might just be a way to avoid having the same winners over and over; especially if that user does a lot of private giveaways in the forum. (I had events where the same user won two or three of my games.)
Now, if a bunch of blacklists come at once, you should start wondering if it's something you said. :P
Thank you for those giveaways!

Happy Father's day and bump for the giveaways.
Pretty much what Raggart said above.

This morning I got a notification that I had won an invite-only giveaway (what a great way to start the day!). I went to leave a thank-you comment for the creator as I always do and found that I had been blacklisted (there goes that great feeling). I went back to the GA discussion but it had been closed and the giveaway links deleted. Fortunately I had left a bump so I was able to leave my thanks and apologies there to hopefully atone for my blacklist-warranting sins. I noticed that there were several other comments from people who were blacklisted too. I can't think what all these people must have done to offend.
Anyway I'm going to try not to dwell on it. This post is to celebrate the wonderful and generous SG community and especially all the dads celebrating Father's Day today. I hope you like puzzle games. I am giving away:
The Entropy Centre (region restricted I'm afraid)
Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery
The Abandoned Planet
Level 1+. Runs until 22 June. Good luck!
