The next Maduro (venezuelan president/dictator) by the right and the next Lula (ex-brazilian president, leftists love him here) by the left.
That said, we barely hear about mexican politics here. It's mostly from one of the sides trying to scare people, especially the alt-right. They love to tell people that any leftist running is the next Chavez/Maduro and if any country elects them, it will become another Venezuela. We have an election in a few months as well, so we're getting a lot of that shit right now on social media. Mostly from political accounts. Some of them are full of "memes" about it.
Mainstream media doesn't even seem to realize that it's happening. They only care about football now. It's probably the reason our presidential election always happens in the same year as the fifa world cup...

AMLO seems to be the best candidate from what I've heard, but with how pervasive corruption is in government who even knows anymore. Whoever gets the position of president are either in the cartels' pockets or are total nebs like Nieto /shrug
