How do people buy tradeable 4 packs ?

Buy 4 packs as a gift at checkout? (or steam key?)

some games are bugged and allow it but usually not.

There was a trick involving logging in different browsers adding someting else to the cart then deleting it and I dunno what else. Can't really tell.

Never heard of anyone buying them as a gift...in fact the Buy as Gift option isn't even enabled in that case in checkout :S

It bugs sometimes and the option becomes available. I was able to buy 5 packs of Trackmania Canyon for 3/4 days before they fixed it.

Would anyone care to share that secret method of buying a 4-pack as a gift item .. not asking to reveal it directly here but just to me. I have no commercial intentions and would just love to be able to buy 4-packs for my 4 nephews from now till xmas and today's deal would be one I'd like to get.

Sorry for bothering, but I have a question to ask.

The 4-pack game that goes in your inventory, does it act like a single gift/unit, like it's just a 4pack gift that when activated it will give a game in your library + 3 gift copies, or is it 4 individual gift copies of the game?
