If i want to fiddle with something i'd just use an old giveaway.
We can close threads, edit them, can't really see the use.

IMHO closing a thread or use an old giveaway are just workarounds and that there's a script offering this feature only shows people are interested in having it. I would like to have this directly available and I don't really see a reason against implementing a preview feature.

Actually this is a great idea
As for me I was thinking a lot of time about "pick a genre" option for the search
Like If you are interested in RTS giveaways only you can set this filter on
Or maybe you would like to see FPS and card games, maybe you are interested in "Now popular on steam" option and so on
I wish there would be such options =/

Yeah, would be nice to have it officially implemented within Steamgifts.
For now though, I just use my "formatting thread" where all of the threads I make go through before publication, for lack of better words. I write, format and save everything there, and when I'm ready, I simply copy the entire thing to a new thread creation.

When creating threads (or maybe comments also) would there be a chance to implement a preview or save feature?
So have a seperate box below the description when creating to see how the thread will look before posting as I'm sure a lot of puzzle creators etc would want to see if everything is correct etc.
A save feature may be more complex but it would be nice to build a thread in time and save it like a document.
