Actually when I started to use Steam I was thinking the same. But that was because I literally had no money in my student times and I was already working, once I have started to use Steam on a every day basis.

Funny how I was thinking that only MP games were worth to buy at the start of my Steam career, however, now I clearly prefer SP games (mostly because I have burned out after thousands of hours of playing with screaming pubs and teens).

This, without the last part. At this point (and I think that's the good thing) I don't even care. I have so much games on Steam to play that even if there's something new coming up and it looks interesting but it's hyper overvalued or is not for Steam/PC (I don't even own any console), I don't bother.
