yes, both. In fact I have turned steam and the computer off several times already (the issue has been here for more than 24hours already) but doesn't work. I'll just hope it is related with the winter sales :(

Whenever I have this happen it tends to be an external page (PC Gamer news article, mostly) overloading the web component. If you're on Windows bring up Task Manager and shut down any "steamwebhelper.exe" processes you find (usually 3 or more). This will force Steam to reboot it's web component and force a reload, though it's only a temporary fix.

I was having trouble yesterday with it telling me my inventory was empty, but I kept trying and it eventually fixed itself.
Usually, when Steam won't load anything but the Library, that's a problem with my ISP. I access Steam on two computers; on one, which has a cable connection, I've never had that problem. On the other, which has satellite and a very low bandwidth limit (5GB/mo with throttled-to-dialup speeds after), it most often happens after my allotted bandwidth runs out.
I don't know what's causing your problem, but good luck with it! I know how frustrating that is. :(

Then strange that it is working fine here; you should also be on the European servers, but maybe there are some local differences.

Anyone resolved this? I'm still having this issue, seems to only affect community inventory. Precisely I think some background or emoticon is causing this bug.

unfortunately didnt work for me. I am able to search other people's community inventory, but not my own. Keeps telling me inventory not available even though it is right there with all cards etc. but search function is messed up.

So, basically and since yesterday, my steam client won't load any "page" (profile, store, community, and their subs) beside the library. Is it happening just to me or has anyone else noticed too?
