Well then try for more, the problem is that the prices right now from the majority of traders are around 3.5 - 4 b/c the sale is over. You can easily sell it for 3, 4 would be tougher, and 5 would be close to impossible right now. The guys who bought craploads of copies during the sale will always have a better price than someone who has 1 or 2 copies of something and just wants to maximize profit.
2 is basically a steal right now.
3 is a good price.
4 is the majority going rate as you can find a bunch of people with that price.
5 is overpriced.
And it wouldnt even get you ten bucks. 4 keys sold on the market nets a seller 2.19 a piece if you put a 2.50 price on the keys. It would get you 8.76.

Well yeah, theres lots of sellers who buy lots of copies of sale games, wait til the sale is over and then make their profit. If its the only thing you're trying to offload you're going to have a hard time competing with them.
Its only a 14.99 game to begin with. But its 346 rubles (about 10 bucks) in the Russian store. Its baseline is 4 w. the Russians.

Im not well versed enough to really give much advice about keys selling/buying. I would suggest buying keys for 1.90 a piece from someone on Steamtrades with high rep with Paypal. There's more than a few on there that are trustworthy. There's always someone selling for around that price. I dont really trade for profit. I trade to get games I want to play and shop for the lowest prices.

Buying ANY game on Steam at its price on there is almost always going to be a loss. I rarely if ever buy games directly from Steam anymore except during the big sales.
Its next to impossible to beat the Russians on prices for non-region locked games since their store is already cheaper than US Steam.

Ignore the bit at the end about VPN/Proxy. I would not suggest anyone not from Russia to buy from the Russian store. Just find a Russian trader on ST. Just search for "Russia" lol and you'll find more than a few.
Most (good/trustworthy) Russian traders won't sell you a region locked game anyway since the gift itself is tagged.

Its not that cut and dry. Buy from whomever you can get the best price from. Sometimes its a Russian, sometimes its not. You just have to look around. But 99.9% of the time it will be for keys.
If a game is region locked, the key price may be even more than the US store, so you have to look around.

What you probably ask is if it's SAFE or is he making a cheap deal just to chargeback and leave you with nothing in the future - quick glance at Russian Store says that if he bought 4pack with at last -50% then he can be on profit side if he'll get 2 keys for it.
