I would love the key! Been wanting to play it since they started taking preorders! I'm a huge fan of the Final Fantasy series~

3 Reasons:

1. I love MMOs, and having played FFXI I know I'll love FFXIV.
2. I will pay to play, not just ride out the free 14 days and quit.
3. DRAGOON. DRAGOON!!!

I want it because:

The newest FF game I played was the Wii Chocobo's Dungeon (a roguelike/dungeon cralwer).
The most recent FF RPG I played was FFVII.
People just don't seem to want it :V

Also, because I'm curious about it and the whole "FF is a MMORPG now" thing, I've wanted to play a recent JRPG for a while but, all Steam had that you could actually buy (not subscribe) was The Last Remnant the last time I checked.

That thing was a 30 day "trial" after which you would have to pay a subscription to keep playing, right? I got a lot of free time (at least until December) too so yeah :V

I love FF series:) I completed all FF, love mmorpg and i have partecipated as beta tester for FFXIV:)

Actually, I'm really interested in the key personally. I spent a couple years playing FFXI pretty hardcore, and it was the first MMO experience that I really loved. I've beta tested FFXIV, both the original (which was pretty horrible) and now FFXIV A Realm Reborn as well. I wasn't planning to pick it up, since none of my friends expressed any interest in playing with me, but the two people I most commonly start up MMOs with have now hauled off and bought the game, while I, sadly, can't afford to now - having gotten a little stupid with some bundles and trades, and having to buy my text books for University. After paying $186 for a USED copy of the book for just one of my psych classes, $25 is something I just really can't afford to throw down now... If only they'd bothered to tell me a day sooner, so I wouldn't have bought keys for a couple trades. Though, at least in doing those trades, I was also getting several games together at discounts, where I had at least one of them, and one of my close friends wanted the other(s)... Even being stupid with trades & bundles of game stuff, I try to share the love. :D

I'd LOVE to be able to play FFXIV: ARR.
1) I love MMO's and like the FF series, especially if they're hard/semi-hard they're even more fun, and playing with friends and making new ones.
2) I will also pay the sub, and I've been wanting to roll a Bard, since I played it on the beta about a ~month or so prior to release, albeit didn't get -too- far, skipped open beta.
and 3) I play WoW, have played Rift and a few other games similar, so I'm not someone "new," and I'd love to experience the story of ARR. I'll play with you as well(: and the game is great from my experience on the beta, and the OST.....is really good. And the crafting system looks great and much different than WoW/etc.

It would be nice if I could get my hands on it; the last FF game I played was FFVII, and liked a lot.

Now, I'm going to collegue, and have been unable to get AAA games for quite a long time (the last big game I got was Halo 4 because of my birthday); HumbleBundle has been turned into my only source for games. lol

And, considering the mixed feelings people have about the newest FF games, I can't afford risking my low budget and buy one of them; and the closest second-hand market I have (GameStop) is one hour in car away (and I do not have a car; and let's not talk about how shitty the Spanish public transport is).

Also, I share my Origin account with my brother; who's an avid player (he has completed all of Mass Effect's sidequest, even the one where you have to recover artifacts from a lot of planets), and even if I wasn't playing it because of studies, he would surely make good use of it.

I hope you find somebody the game would make happy, OP, this is very generous of you. :)

there are 3 reasons why i think you should give me the key :

1. my friend is a huge fan of FF series and he is playing it right now, but i can't afford to play it because im... poor XD

2. right now im doing nothing and im looking for a reason to start working, maybe this game will give me one.

3. Fairies .

I generally don't like MMORPGs for boring stories and no dialogues (quests are just walls of text usually). FFXIV:ARR is different though. I played it for a few days during the beta phases 3 and 4 - I wanted to check it as a JRPG and FF fan. To sum it up: I liked pretty much everything about it, especially the world, plot (I'd love to see what happens after my character has left Gridania to speak with the rulers of the other two city states), dialogues and lore, but the disciplines/jobs system and combat are nice too. The only reason I didn't get the game is I wasn't sure about it being an MMO (seems I'm a single player/local multiplayer person). That's why I've been waiting for some trial, at least a week or two long. Or for a chance like this. Well, I can assure you I'd play it for at least a month and it's very probable I wouldn't stop at that.

So the three reasons are:

1. I will play it.

2. I'm a JRPG and FF fan.

3. I like FFXIV:ARR for more than just it being an MMO.

1. I never actually play FF game..mhave heard of how its cool and awesome and great and fabulous but I wont exactly know why.. Not until I try it myself and I am quite curious :)

-I've been looking to scratch that MMO itch, and I've been following this game for a while now and it looks like something I would play for a long time.

-I was looking forward to Guild Wars 2 but it ended up being quite disappointing. So I've been looking for a new MMO to play. I would love to go back and play FFXI but with XIV out now there really isn't any point.
