Now THIS is some great news! If this is true, I hope the patch up all the issues AoE2 have when playing on Win 7. And let's pray The Conquerors expansion comes along too!

You're right! The achievements list includes achievements for the Huns, the Koreans, the Mayans, the Aztecs and the Spanish. And, if memory serves me right, those 5 civilizations are exclusive to the Conquerors expansion.

Hell yeah, AoE2 Conquerors is coming to Steam!

I have the hard disks of AOE Gold And AOE 2 with The expac. Loved the second one the more. Wonder if i can get a key somehow using my hard copy...

I'd love to see companies willing to give out steam keys for physical copies if you mail them the discs. That's less than 2 US Dollars flat-rate, if you just drop them into the flimsiest packaging you can find. The discs don't need to arrive in pristine condition.

I think I'd prefer having the disc copy over the Steam DRM unless they had special Steam servers set up, and even then I'd rather keep the CDs.

I have or had the collectors edition, but can't remember where the discs are ._.

I think the discs are actually beginning to crack from usage the last time saw them.
