So I get spammed by all those "deal sites" all the time, and I casually read through the offers. And today, while reading a mail from HB, I've noticed a game that really looked like something I adored to play - that is, The Neverhood.
Obviously, I've started the lurk and found out that this game - Armikrog - is actually going to be a sequel to The Neverhood and Earthworm Jim.

You must understand me there, The Neverhood is a game I've played as a kid, then as a teenager and then when I was 20 and something years old and I've loved every and each playthrough. The soundtrack is my almost favourite video game soundtrack ever (Bastion takes the lead).

In the end I've decided to create a thread in the discussions section of the game to express my positive feelings about the oncoming game and the fact that the same people who created The Neverhood work on it now, hoping only to have Terry Taylor work on the soundtrack to the new game.

When I checked the replies, I got a link to a youtube video, where T. Taylor presents one of the upcoming songs coming from the soundtrack.

And here I am now, having pre-ordered Armikrog as my second game ever after BoI: Rebirth (Edmund delivered like a master he is) listening to a beta soundtrack of the game feeling dark times just got a little brighter.

EDIT: Shoutout to all the people who just want to share my happiness, without knowing what this is all about - thanks :P

Yeah, it was :)

I really wish they could release it on Steam, however, it seems that there's no way they can do that, as EA or some other company is holding the rights and didn't let them to put the game up on Steam.

They were called DreamWorks Interactive at this time ; it seems that the rights were lost with the restructuration of the company... It reminds me the story of the N.O.L.F. game serie :(

Maybe if we talk with the guys of Night Dive Studios, they could find a way to work on it! :D

Download it from torrents or something, it's worth it. The only copies that are available right now are the original, almost 20 years old ones now and they cost 50$ upwards, which is a bit crazy, at least such was the situation when I last checked.
