I felt like something was different, but couldn't put my finger on it.
Well, nice of them that they entered a typical 2010s company image only six and 3/4 years in the decade. Now all we need is some other intern in the office telling management about these hot new things called customer satisfaction feedback surveys and analysis, and we are set.

That would be a possible end of a road there, but more like trying to teach them the mentality of "Hey, our customers are actually people, not walking wallets! maybe if we pretend to act like as if we treated them as people, they may like us and spend more money at us!" Trying to use monopoly as a single business model is never a good idea, unless you are a company enjoying state-mandated monopoly (where usually laws make sure that you'll uphold said monopoly).

Remember: Valve time. They do everything we ever wished for, but nobody knows when.

It's nice to know that Valve is still hard at work - developing games and fixing shit with the community... oh, wait...

Years from now everyone will be able to remember what they were doing when the Steam logo changed!

Typical Valve behaviour: they prioritize pointless "updates" that no one asked for, while ignoring the obvious (like a proper support).
By the way, it's the same as the SteamOS logo, except with white in place of glowing purple.

Why would they change logos every 5-10 years, I'll never know the purpose
Maybe it's a good idea so we won't bored of the logo
Though sometimes the logo looks worse than before, like microsoft did :P

The "new" logo has been on their mobile site for at least 2 months. So it is not that new.
