What do you want out of the Nintendo NX? (Nintendo NX is Nintendo's upcoming console)
LMFAO, yeah, I think the Wii U was a huge disappointment. but isn't it more b/c of the games library than the hardware? or is it a combination of both?

Yes :) it will supposedly release towards the end of this year or sometime next year.

Thanks for the information :) They most successful machines from them was still NES and SNES, other than that was just copy from Sony and Sega.

Yeah, I think Nintendo has made some odd business decisions that backfired on them.
Nintendo 64 - they chose to go with cartridges even though there wasn't enough space on them for Developers to produce the games they wanted to.
Gamecube - they chose to buck the industry and go with smaller discs, so you couldn't play DVD's on the console.
Wii - they chose to go with a max resolution of 480p while the other consoles did a minimum of 720p (HD)

Talking about Wii, This machine causing Monster Hunter Fans quited when they bought the MH's rights over, just because they have the motion sensor attach to controller..
Really causes the Asian sides MH Fans going chaos for years.

N64 was the first one that included the joystick in the controller... then sony & sega copy that... Also the possibility of the accesories, like Rumble Pack or Expansion Pak

Yeah, that's why they having a gaming industry war on the Asia side years back, Sega counter them with Saturn and Dreamcast, Sony launch Playstation against all. This is why most big games still stick with Sony till Microsoft release XB.

The Last thing I heard was. That the handheld part Will be released in 2016 and the console part in 2017. The handheld part May also work with Your pc, xbox and PS4. I Think I heard it in soms Youtube vids

Yeah, I heard that as well, we'll have to see though, I don't think anything has been confirmed. I'm sure we will get some more information throughout the Spring and will hopefully know some more info by the time E3 rolls around.

Idk what they're planning to do with the NX, b/c if it replaces the Wii U and the 3DS, there could be a chance of that happening, but it seems more like a successor to the Wii U imo.
Having said that, there's a spin-off Pokemon game called Pokken Tournament that looks awesome :'D. It's basically a Tekken fighting game with Pokemon.

I always wondered at that obvious genre exclusion for the franchise, I was pretty intrigued when the game was announced. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out, it could be pretty great. :)

it really could be, it has a lot of potential. idk if you were aware but earlier this month, they announced Chandelure as a playable character, so there are some unusual choices for Pokken Tournament but I really like the decisions being made for the roster, so we'll see :)

It's one of those 'could be great, could be meh' things, so waiting till it's closer to release to really invest attention into it. :)
All I really want for inclusion is sandshrew, it's my favorite. :X
Besides, all I own is a Wii, not a Wii U, so it'll be a while till I have to actually worry about it.
Hopefully the NX release will bring the U down into my price range... :X

There's several I'm interested in- I love Nintendo 1st-party games- but super smash bros is top of the list. I may even get one of those Amiibos to play with, see how that works out. :)

yeah, I'm with you. the wii u was over the top. I'm not sure though if I want something new and cool, I think it depends, part of me wants that, but a big part of me also wants them to go back to their bread and butter and just make great original games with great gameplay.

I want it to be like Xbox and PS, but slightly different. All this mumbo jumbo with magic wands and tablet controllers was a huge turn off.

Never cared for the latest consoles from nintedo doesnt really go towards my style of gaming but i do really want competition between companies cause its better for the consumer so if they actually make for once a decent console and decent titles not old play mario pokemon and zelda all over again i will be happy cause nintendo can spark up the competition, lets not forget it was them who manage to revive games after the ET mega super fail that almost killed the industry

I'm all for Nintendo doing their own thing with their own quirkiness to it as long as they start supporting 3rd party developers and cross platform releases. The Wii U has had very few releases overall and looking at both PS4 and XONE they're bound to have a longer life span in comparison and Nintendo just feels like they're falling behind. It's going to be fun to see in which direction they choose to go though and they always have their roster of exclusives to fall back on.
