What happens if I have Trine 2 and buy the 3-pack?

Hi there!
I made a quick search with inconclusive results.

I already own Trine 2 + Goblin Menace. Now I'd like to buy the 3-pack, so I can gift a copy to 2 friends and give the extra copy away.

When buying the 3-pack, will I get all 3 as gifts (instead of the usual 1 active + 2 gifts)?

  • EDIT: once added to the cart, it won't let me buy it, not even as a gift. I'll have to spend an extra 2.54€ just for you guys. ^^

In rare cases you're allowed to buy multi-pack as a gift, usually, though, Steam client won't let you purchase, if you already own a copy.

Try it out and see. It's obvious one won't go into your library, but usually 3-packs can't be bought as gifts.

I can confirm - you can't buy it. I think this is cos one is active and the other two are gifts. It is frustrating.
