Should I get it? It's 66% off on GMG (10 bucks US) And you can use the 20% off voucher, so about 8 bucks. So basically is it a good game?

If you played MK1-3 growing up, YES YES YES. The story mode alone is worth it.

It's a fine fighting game, yes. Obviously you'll get far more out of it if you're familiar with the old games.

Apparently it's a good PC port, too.

Well, if you're interested in it, lucky for you you don't live in Europe, because those bastards at GMG seem to think the Euro-Dollar rate is 1:1 or worse (there was Don't Starve for like 8$ some day ago, and the euro price was more than 9€), and they're digital Steam games so they can't even blame taxes or whatever, they're just plain idiots.
About MK, if you're interested in fighting games and in the MK series (and if you are interested in fighting games I can't believe you don't know MK) you should buy it, it's a good game from what I hear. I'd buy it myself if the euro price weren't so messed up.

If you like to play 1 player or local vs, it's great. Don't buy it if you only want online play. It hardly ever works, and even then only for a small portion of owners.
We can see here what happened to the player base since launch, with the game launching with broken online multiplayer:

Good game, I bought from Amazon 2 weeks ago for ~13.50, so 8 bucks is def worth it.
