Which game logic is most annoying for you?
ESCORT MISSIONS.
Other than that, I understand why some game logic is there, may kill immersion, but it is a game.

I remember Company of Heroes that stealth units were essentially useless as AI would be able to magically see them and fire mortars at them despite having zero spotter units. Then there was Empire Earth, oh boy they could have an economy better than yours despite only having 4 guys collecting resources compared to your 30. Though Empire Earth 3 fixed that but unfortunately it made even the "hardest" AI a cakewalk.
I mean come on, there's games from before 2000 where the AI doesn't need to cheat to be good and provides a challenge while fighting fair. When did AI programming get so lazy?
ARMA is possibly the worst offender although you'd need a whole website to describe and figure out the AI problems there. A good example is that AI on "harder" difficulties despite having aimbot mode, i.e. they turn round and headshot you with ironsights from 2km away while standing up with a .5.56mm round, tend to be insanely stupid and get stuck on a lot of stuff. The "easier" AI fights actually a lot smarter and will try to suppress you, flank and use smoke and other cover to advance on you. Units under your command are insanely stupid but can spot people from miles away. Arma AI in a nutshell.

Hah, yep, and then there's the ever talked about AI cops in GTA V (and IV, and III, and...).
The rubber banding on racing games has to rate as one of the worst offenders generally, because it makes you think that despite hours of practice, you still are no good at the game because the computer opponents keep catching up. At least with online multiplayer racing nowadays it can be a bit more realistic.

I voted for visual bugs, as they really take you out of the experience of a game. (I think I'd rather play an old sprite graphics game than a 3D one with a lot of errors for that reason.)
But another thing that really bugged me was the immortality of NPCs in some games. For example, Elizabeth in Bioshock Infinite is such that rockets just bounce off her.

You'd hate it more if you kept having to reload cuz Elizabeth decided to stand in the open and catch a rocket with her face.

That isn't false. Mostly her AI actually seemed pretty good, but obviously I had occasion to discover her immunity to gunfire. And given the hatred of escort missions this poll is revealing, making the entire game into one would not have flown.
I just appreciate when a game hides the seams a little better.

I almost chose invisible walls (Everything looks just so reachable in Darksiders!), but when I thought about my time with Pro Evolution Soccer and FIFA, I definitely hate cheating PCs the most. I stopped playing football games just because of this problem: You lead 2:1, you are in the 90th minute, the opponent gets a corner kick.... the rest is rage quit history.

Dialog issues. Either as you say, the content or tone of the choice is misleading, or more often, both/all of the choices are pretty bad. Specifically, all choices are extremes, or too extreme.

To be honest, most of these points in your poll annoy me from time to time. But the worst is still "Escort AI" - and somehow developers keep building these in their games. The least annoying would be IRL or profession logic breaking for me, since most of the games don't really care about those logics anyways.
Bugs can be hilarious though and some conversations between characters can bring up a B / C-Movie flair wich is quite hilarious :D
I found a funny "bug" review of a german gaming magazine about Gothic 3 (but, believe it or not, it's in german :P)

QTE's a.k.a. Quick Time Events. It's 2015 for the love of holy Gaben, stop making us press buttons to watch a cinematic. I don't have sympathy or respect for any company that still makes obligatory QTE's in 2015. At least just put an option to skip them ...

I felt the same...then I played Tomb Raider...
In a game that pushes immersion so much the QTEs actually seems to work, they make my fight just as urgent as Lara's and let me identify with her more.
Still hate them generally, but not in that game.

Oh man! There is a exclusive game on PS3 called Heavy Rain, Its the best game I ever played that involved QTE! The QTE sections are extremely intense! I would disregard Heavy Rain from the complaint since it is mechanics are QTE rather than games nowadays that use it that its base mechanics are much different!

in certain games QTEs are quite nice imho. they are very well done in the telltale games (except jurassic park). and i also like them in action adventures, if not overdone.

There is only one thing that I can't stand in games and that is game breaking bugs. They can do all the visual glitches and dumb AI that they want, but the moment that starts having some actual detrimental effects to the gameplay is the moment I start getting annoyed.

I dunno about others, but sometime I have a glitch that I see everything like a bird, while I'm actually on the ground and others see me so. Fun thing about it is that I can see enemies at dust II mid, on inferno b and many more, but when I press jump I start to see normally.
PS. yes, CSGO ragdoll is hilarious x) I once had an awp triple, and the first victim flew over other 2 bodies.

Little kids that make fun of you and you cant kill them, thank god for mods.

Uh, do you need counseling? Just kidding, it's already therapy.

It all depends on the type of game, for example I can endure invisible walls or killing the player instantly if he wants to leave the designed area if the game is story and/or level design-driven and other things like that which make sense.
On the other hand escort missions with helpless AI is what drives me crazy and I just can't stand them (if the character fights back or hides correctly it's fine though, but that's very rare).

The only game I ever played where the escort mission didn't make me want to quit it forever was Halo.
Otherwise, I hate most pathfinding.
Otherwise the artificial limitation. Like how shooters forgot how to jump. Or know how to implement a fork in a road. Or, frankly, anything related to them since CoD 4 ruined the whole genre.

I do not think COD4 ruined the genre, it was a great game every COD after it did, Activision decided to milk its success and became a powerful force within the genre and other devs had to adapt.

It pretty much popularised the one-corridor, cut-scene at every step, cover-to-cover, infinitely regenerating health, two weapons only style. So pretty much destroyed everything that made old shooters even somewhat challenging. because camping in indestructible covers while you regen all your health to dispatch enemies who never flank with an infinite supply of bullets is not challenging. Makes for great videos and promotional material, but the first stage of Doom 1 is more complex as a game than that.

I would see a therapist Kartyl... IF YOU HAVE NOT KILLED HIM ALREADY!!!

I hate people that harp on about realism in games. Granted I want my car physics as realistic as possible so that I can pretend I have some skill, but if you come to me tell me dark areas are still too bright or have mystical light coming from nowhere then I want to bash your skull in. I hate realism limits like limited resources or how dark an area is. 95% of the time I want that area with the supposed mystical lighting to be even brighter, NOT darker and don't even get me started on light being a limited resource with torches that burn out or batteries than run out. I hate having to choose what's in my inventory, this is a game so I'd much rather have the choice of using whatever awesome item I can't use yet later than having to prioritize inventory space for things I need right now. And heck, later on it might be cool to play the game entirely differently (from melee to ranged for instance) with gear that wasn't right for my char at the time. I hate having to ration bullets and having breakable gear, awesome item X is so much less awesome if I can only use it for 20 minutes (effective real time it takes to whittle down 40 durability or so) before it breaks but I'd have zero problem with such an item just becoming useless until you can get it repaired. And I will cheat to get around these limits (offline only of course).
Now...onto the topic at hand I hate when dialog choices don't play out as expected...which they never do for me, especially in BioWare games. I'd hate bad escort AI more but I've yet to play a game where that's a big problem and I hate escort missions to begin with because they take away my cheat advantages usually. So yeah, unreliable dialog choices it is.

I hate it when I need to get up to go to the bathroom or my parents or SO start yelling at me to stop playing and do something else. Really breaks the immersion. They should bundle a gamer pod with entertainment systems so it's sound proof and no one can disturb you.

Cheating computers. I quit Battlestations:Midway because I played for over an hour fighting an enemy fleet with only a carrier and planes, thinking my defensive strategy would eliminate the enemy planes after a bit, just to realize they give enemy carriers unlimited planes and give you 20 of each type if you're lucky. That's bullshit.

Discussion about glitches or insane game logic
Tell, which things you don't like on games and are annoying for you or which ones do you find really hilarious.
Any funny pictures about game logic are welcomed.
