But after using system for few days that I getting so much points that I can enter almost every second giveaway.
that create system to not just enter giveaway for games that you want, but enter giveaway just to hoard games.

Is SG giving too much points?

It's because of the recent influx in Clickteam Fusion giveaways, I believe. Though generally if you enter only for games you really want to play, you'll never run out tbh.

+1 I didnt notice the "unlimited points" at all untill it was mentioned in a thread. Because I check Sg a couple of times a day ( got to love the flash GA ^^) and the amount of games I enter is so low that untill there is a massive drop of a certain game, I almost never get below the 200-250 point range.

I think so too, but a lot of people think the amount of points you get it's fair. Can't argue with the majority.
Even so, I've learnt to spend them wisely (as in almost never spend them :P ), entering only what you really want is the way to go. Don't try to spend all your point either, it's not happening.

It does. The system was designed when the site less than half of the current user base, and currently there are 4-6 times as many giveaways created as then, meaning the twice as many users get 4-6 times as many points, so there are 8-12 times as many points to spend overall. In economy, this is almost enough to call it hyperinflation.
This is why even the shittiest junk can get hundreds of entries. The hoarding levels on this site are beyond ridiculous, I cannot even name you the last time any of my public/open group winners actually even played the games they won. (Not from me, in general.)
Cutting back point generation could help a ton. Even 75% point reduction wouldn't be bad. Maybe even more.

Would you believe that it was the 4th slowest month last year? Shows that the site is so big that one person cannot really influence it any more, even if they create 600 giveaways in 2 days.

Points generation is not static, it is a % of the value of giveaways created that we get credited as points. Generally it's somewhat high indeed but you also happened upon one of the most active times of the year both because of the winter sale and the Developer bundle HB has now. That means there's a lot of people making giveaways(and high cost ones) so the point generation has skyrocketed.
I'm also quite oftenly just sitting on 300P nowadays, maybe for days, however when a wishlisted item goes in a bundle or there's some big event on the forum( insert traumatic memories of that 100 Floor Maze event) you will run out of points before you know it :3

The more giveaways that are created, the faster you get points.
They could be cut back, though, and I definitely wouldn't mind
Except when there's a Humble Monthly I skipped with a game I really want. :X
