It's a free week thingy, so everyone owns it for one week.
Look at your account details, your orders and it says "Orion: Dino Horde - Free Week June 2014"

Yeah, because you "own" it for that week. It's kind of stupid but I guess you can't do anything about it. At least I don't know a solution, sorry. Maybe someone else does.

it's not the fault of Steamgifts.

it's because during a free Weekend Valve simply adds the game to your account the same way as if you would own it.

Steamgifts can't detect the difference and there's no Steam API to do so.

If you want to blame someone, blame Valve =)

which would allow users who really own the game to enter.

simply try do do your weekly sync on a Monday/Tuesday, so the free weekend games don't show up on steamgifts.

It's a known problem with the way Steam works when it comes to free weekends and other such promotions. If you've played the game, even after the free weekend is over, Steamgifts will have no way to know that you don't own it. I've contacted support here about exactly this problem with another game and there's nothing they can do about it.

why on any other giveaway sites have not this problem. (some of them have same rules as SG.

other giveaway sites don't run any detection of the games you own to prevent you from entering.
