A bottle of coke just exploded on my keyboard, and some oft he keys just repeat themselves now.
Going to buy a new keyboard, but not sure what to buy.

I prefer Cherry Brown or Red.

Any ideas?

I bought the Logitech G610 Orion Brown last week on sale (80 euro from 140). Looks nice and feels good for a first mech keyboard, though I'm still trying to get used to it

Logitech has some pretty good stuff. I have a G710+ myself, and I can't say I have any reason to complain.

Cherry Cola = instant upgrade to Cherry Red keys :P

Clean and dry it out and it might be ok. Otherwise grab a Corsair keyboard.

It depends. Reds are smooth, browns have the slightest bump as you press them down. Its all preference.

The differences in switch types are in how the key presses feel. Depending on one's preferences, a certain type might be more suitable. Here's an overview: http://www.pcgamer.com/best-mechanical-switches-for-gaming/

Wish I'd seen this sooner.
Newegg had a 12 hour special on the Corsair K70 for $49.99 this morning.

I use a K70 Red myself, and it's really built to last (full aluminum chassis), and pretty stylish looking, too.

Unplug it first ;)

I hope the keyboard you spilled coke on was the g810 you were getting replacement ideas for about a month ago and not a new one you replaced it with. If it was new, then my condolences for your wallet.

Like a lot of others here I can definitely vouch for the Corsair K70 which I'm using right now. Only real questions you need to ask yourself are if you need macro keys and whether or not you want dedicated media controls. Once you know those it should be easier to narrow down what you want.

I debated between the K70 and the G610, and eventually chose this. One month later, I'm very happy with it. My only real criticism is that it's a bit too loud (though still less loud than the other two).
