Not on the official humblebundle.com domain, The reddit page links to a "create" page, not an actual thread, the humble and humblesupport twitter accounts which apparently purchased the bundle, have not tweeted anything about it...

However, the voice in the bundle video sounds legit, and they've absolutely nailed the layout, so I'd say this very well could be a bundle that you're not meant to be seeing yet. In other words, a test site, so I wouldn't recommend buying from there just yet.

But the video is on the WolfireGames account, which has previously listed the humble bundle 6. I'm guessing it's a legit bundle pre-launch

It's on humblebundle.com now.

Great set of books, and I can vouch for Old Man's War being good Science Fiction.

I second that and will also vouch for the Pump Six short story collection.

Thought it was fake until I watched the video.

I don't have a Kindle, or anything similar, plus I like my books in physical so I'll skip it regardless.

Humble Bundles start at 14 days, 6 hours, so I predict that if it is legit, that's the moment it will pop up on the main site.

The Tech is there :D it would just need a switch to be pressed.
But I don't see it happening, unless they could tie it to a game.

That's what they said about movies, music and software. The three are now being sold on Steam.

the video is not from wolfire and it is not official domain. this is either a clever scam, a legit copycat site, or a test. i would not advise buying from this right now. if it is actually from wolfire, wait for it to show up on the official site...

The video is from wolfire lol. You can check it, posted by the actual Wolfire account. I also claimed the page and shows up on my humblebundle.com accounts. Its legit.

You can always print them?

They should add something videogame related too imo; I always wanted to check out Hitman: Enemy Within.

1 decade ago

Print a book. I don't work for a printing firm.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You don't have to... What I did in my college days was printing 4 pages on one paper (2 pages on each side). That way a book with around 100 pages went onto 25 pieces of paper, and it was way easily readable still. The only backside of this is that you have to arrange the pages so that they will follow each other, if you want to make it actually look like a book. But if you don't, just print it as it is and put it in sequence in a folder. Just a quick tip ;)

But if you're not keen on printing that much (which is understandable) they have multiple formats, should you have anything to use it on. You can read them on your phone or iPad if you have one; the possibilities are there.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Actually most software does that for you. The binding is the issue and getting the double sided printed right...

I really liked Hitman: Enemy Within, but then again I'm also a Fan of the whole franchise. Still a good book.

I have read Song of Ice and Fire to halfway through feast for crows on my 11 inch netbook. If you have a netbook, just rotate the display and it is just like reading a normal book. Remember to take eye breaks though, and manage your brightness settings

Do they let you get the extra stuff if you beat the average after the sale is over too? This is the first time I'm about to buy it for like, a buck, because I ran out of money for the month (of which there's still a lot of days...); but I might give the extra ones a read in the future. I was hoping the BTA price would get down to 3-4 bucks, but instead it stays like at a high point no Humble ever had... that's just my luck.

so far all the HIBs have permitted to BTA even after the sale is over; only be aware that lately they limited the time you have after the sale to do so.
