Is Euro Truck simulator good?

Only one bad thing - missing multiplayer. IMO, It could be ultimate MMO driving game

With this kind of sims it always makes me wonder why you don't actually become a truck driver and get paid to do what you like instead of playing behind a screen.

It's good, but it's no match to Big Rigs.

I hate any type of euro truck simulators and crap.

2nd is awesome, but i don't know how about 1st.

It's pretty good, especially with mods. If you have wheel, highly recommended.

I won the second one last night. First work, missed a red light, crashed into a car, couldn't leave the trailer in place. I'm gonna have fun with this game. I hope I can connect my Ps2 wheel to make it feel more realistic.

I put 40+ hours into ETS2, so yes, it's quite good :) Love hiring more drivers and buying more trucks, get a big trucking empire business going haha!

Not sure about ETS1, but I know you can't hire other drivers so it's likely vastly inferior.

The second one is surprisingly fun.

Euro Truck 2 is pretty good if you like sims but I just don't know for how long.

ET1 didn't convince me. It's essentially 18 Wheels of Steel in European setting.
ET2 is much better. The only reason I played it so little is that I can't keep driving wheel on my desk all the time, and setting it up every time I want to play is tiresome. I tried playing on keyboard or pad but imho it sucks compared to wheel and pedals experience.

Why I don't drive a real truck? Well, if I could get truck license and trailer tractor for 10 EUR I paid for the game, and if driving in real life didn't mean breaking the rules and coping with substandard roads everyday just to make any profit, sure. I would be a truck driver. I love to drive over a long distances, so in perfect world, like the one in game, it would be an awesome job.

It is not bad, but sadly no multiplayer and all you can do with your company is hiring new drivers and buy new trucks who will share some of their automatically generated profit with you.
