My sister and I threw lawn darts in the air, seeing who could get closest to my little brother without hitting him.
Oh wait, you meant video games.

THPS3 was the shit.

My friend and I had a war with indoor darts, similarly trying to throw as close to each other without hitting each other. The game ended with me having a dart hanging out of my calf, blood running down my leg, and my friend's mom screaming...

The Sims 2, The Sims 3, MySims... just a whole heckin' lot of The Sims games. I even played The Sims Medieval, that game everybody pretends doesn't exist! :D

I also put some time into Harry Potter games (1 - 3, 5 and 6) and Alice in Wonderland. Can't remember much else, really. Ah, the good old days of physical games...

EDIT: Right. I forgot I kept playing the trial versions of countless Big Fish games whenever I got reminded of it. Sucks that so many of them are no longer readily available. sobs PlayFirst...

Got a NES back in 1988, but was playing a bunch of games on the Atari before that, and before that was using a tape cassette drive with our TRS-80

NES games I begin with were the classic SMB/Duckhunt and beat SMB within 24 hours of getting the game. Moved on to SMB 2+3 later that year, and Zelda 1+2 the following year.

Fond memories also of trading games to get Punch Out, and Rad Racer which has a soundtrack
I can still hear it in my head by just watching gameplay video on mute.
