I was interested. But after the first part I stopped because I didn't want to bother downloading an entire program just for that.

Thats quite common format. Should work with most software

Is there a default software from Windows 10 that will work?

Okay, I did step 1, and understand the format of step 2, but it errors out or crashes every program I've used on it. Any tips or preferred program (that is free or has a trial period)?

Works in Blender ¯_(ツ)_/¯

You can also modify it to make it work on other programs

Blender won't even open for me. :( I'll have to wait until after work to troubleshoot.

Okay, got Blender working. It worked smoothly after that. But it seems I'm missing something at the beginning. Hmm.

Well the blender suggestion got me further (did not recognize the format; I've also never had to install a program to solve a puzzle ;p), and I have it imported (after figuring out the format from a somewhat limited set), but I'm not sure what to do now. I thought maybe there would be a code or something, but even expanding it in different ways doesn't reveal anything (as far as I can tell)... Hopefully that not revealing too much or asking too much... If you want to reply 'elsewhere', that's fine with me ;)

Use the numpad to change the view. That's the easiest way to look at it from different angles, I found.

Oh man - I tried looking at it from different views, but hadn't found the right one yet. Now I know a little more about Blender. Thanks ;)

Maybe some hint about how to use Blender? It was my first time using it, and I had to mess around with it a bit to identify the function I need.

Doesn't work with Maya. And while I didn't try, I doubt it works with After Effects (elements 3D). I had to get Blender.

I believe I got what I needed from Blender but haven't yet figured out what to do with it. I've tried a few things but surely it's not too hard?

Same error. The +1 was in reply to your previous post. Thus my reply is at the same nested level as Ryptun's reply. Apologies for the confusion.

Just follow the hint (or don't and try different animal names...) - it is the last step. Otherwise it would be as good as giving the link directly :)

RSA does not work this way, it is an asymmetric encryption process, you encode with a public key (which we don't have - and don't need) and you decode with a private key. It works with the website key because you have both keys on screen at the same time.
There are several entries on the GAs, so Ryptun's key is good.

Bump. for solved. It is said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. For me, the insanity induced by this puzzle could be defined as having the right thing in mind but using the wrong program at every step.

Thanks for the challenge and Happy (not first) Cakeday!
