Here is some Twinsen love... I had them on CDs, played them a looooong time ago (2000, I think). They were always a bit, hm, janky, tank controls and all, but at the same time, these games were so creative and lovely, I miss them. And that main track was absolutely BRILLIANT, somehow it really clicks with me.

I had all the achievements of the first one and now they have been replaced. A perfect excuse to play it again!
They're doing an amazing job

Different achievements? Else it's kinda weird.

I don't think the original had achievements...

I mean the first one that came out on Steam from these developers, before this Anniversary Update and such

That's what I mean - I'm pretty sure they never had achievements,

Oh, the first one did have achievements, the sequel didn't.
You still can check it at True Steam Achievements, but they are being removed until they update the game info

Nice, the first game had it's another "updated" but that was a port from Android version with bad controls. Hope this one plays better.

Well, its kinda funny how its renamed now (or was it renamed some time ago?)?
I was surprised as i read TWINSEN'S little big adventure.
At least for me i only knew these games as "Little big adventure" 1+2.
Is it clear why the name was changed?

I'll always remember coming to a friend and he was playing Little big Adventure 1 on his Pc.
We had a blast with it (and of course also with the sequel).

LBA2 was always known to me as "Twinsen's Odyssey" (I still have the original box for it), as NZ mostly received the American Activision release, as opposed to the original EA release.

Apparently it was then re-released by EA and Virgin as "Twinsen's Odyssey" as well.

LBA was also known as "Relentless: Twinsen's Adventure", so the name Twinsen isn't totally out of the blue.

To me, tagging "Twinsen's" onto the start of games is kinda helpful, but perhaps unnecessary given the age of the original gamers...
