I've tried a QR decoder to no success, also tried inputing "that" code into "that puzzle site" but to no success, I know I need 1 more character and I tried the one you mention on your post but... NOPE

My condolences, I was kinda hoping it wasn't true... but then again, no one talks about the death of a friend unless it's real, hope you, his family and other friends are doing better now, may his soul rest in peace.

Really? Now I'm the one having a lot of trouble finding it! Puzzle karma I guess

Bump for finding the puzzle! I can't believe I had to write you a comment to realize how to solve your first part... LOL
The questions seem pretty interesting, ONWARDS!

Oh don't worry, I always speak to myself, I call it: Thinking out loud! :D

Almost there... I would have never understood the puzzle without the hints! Q4 and Q6 are quite difficult... I'm pretty sure I know Q6 but since I need a plural answer I'm not getting the right one. Q4 is just ultra vague :P
edit: Got Q6, but I think you are wrong. I will post the wikia page on a GA once I finish with Q4.

I actually added both singular and plural answers to the ones that I feel could be both, 1 and 6.
And if you search the word of the answer for 6 on google, the 3rd or 4th link mentions the clue. ;)
Edit: Ah yeah, now I get it, the hint actually mentions something another party would do. I've always read that passage as if the second sentence is a sidenote and the third sentence carries on the story about the first sentence. But looking at the wikia the whole paragraph is about the party mentioned in the second sentence. While not exactly mentioned I have no doubt though that the hint is accurate. Oh, the horror of listening to it. I will make the hint a bit more factual correct though. :)

Yes but I got lost since there are even worse poets that fit better with your description of q6.
And now I finally understood your hint to q4 and I was right all along, but I am not inputing the right words... not sure how you want the answer.
edit: got q4, I was inputing a longer answer all along, doh!

Bump for solved! As stated, I shared with you my thoughts about q4 and q6 :] thanks for this mind crunching puzzle

I'm gifting away a non-bundled coop game (Dieselstormers) that I bought a while ago as a four-pack to play with a few friends once it's out of early access. Unfortunately one of them passed away very suddenly earlier this year so I'm sitting with an extra copy that I never had a chance to send to him. So I've made a 2 week GA for people that can solve my puzzle.
I didn't mean to be so bleak to start with, so here's a joke to lighten the mood:
There are 10 kinds of people in the world... and I forgot the punchline.
Edits:
Everyone that's acknowledged that they've solved the puzzle in the GA has been whitelisted for solving it before first official hint has been posted for potential future GAs.
HINT#1: The location of the clue to get to the puzzle is hidden within the text. The very location of the clue also contains the (missing) information on how to solve the clue. You just need to be 1 of those 10 kinds of people.
HINT#2: The clue is tiny. You might want to use a magnifying glass to see it properly.
HINT#3: Don't panic!
HINT#4: In celebration of Towel Day (25th of may), my last hint has been posted where before there was no hint.
