Looking for Streetpass folks

Does anyone know where to get Streetpass tags in New York City? I know the obvious spots like malls, but I never get the chance to go to them. The relay points around me don't seem to be working/used at all. If any SG user uses Streetpass nearby, that would be even better. Thanks!
