Gee it's bloody weird adjusting to this. And for some reason the mouse moves ever so slightly faster than my previous one, but I notice it significantly. It's like when you have this tiny rock in your shoe, and you swear that it's a huge one the size of your large toe nail, but in actual fact it's the size of your little toe nail.

It's called DPI and you can adjust it to be the same as your old one in most cases.

Adjust your DPI, or turn down mouse sensitivity in the windows options

Mindless ranting because I feel a need to express my thoughts to anonymous members of the Internet!

I also bought a new mouse and keyboard recently...my old mouse had 800dpi and the left mouse button didn't work anymore, so I had to use the thumb-button all the time.

My new one has 5000dpi, it was a hardcore change :O ...and now I can't stand my old mouse anymore, it feels so awful xD

And I had the laptop keyboard before so ^^
