I wouldn't be surprised if they get bombarded by negative reviews from people who never play on private servers. Or from people who take that top rated review, which lacks any specifics, at face value and go "microtransactions bad" (which I mostly agree with, btw).

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
“With version 1.0 Ylands goes Free to Play. For new players, Exploration will be available in a separate Exploration pack whilst Early Accessers will already have this pack and all that comes with it.”

That's the important information.
It's just the sub they prepared for the free2play version.
They also announced that in one of their latest update notes.
Basically only interesting for people who want to play right away :D
