Hi friends, i ask you for advice since im very worry about this "issue":
More than 1 day ago someone won one of my GAs, inmediatly i send the key via this page, 10 hours latter i send him a email win my congratulation and the same key, also i ask him to dont forget to mark as recived, having passed 17 hours, i send him another email tell him that dont hesitate to contact me if he had had some issue with the key i provided, and again asking if he had activated the key succesfully plz mark as recived. Having passing 24 hours (more or less) i send him a friend request, but today i found he rejecte my invitation. I check his steam profile, and when i look, found the game he won activated in his library. After this i feel really worried cos this never happen to me.

In short:

  1. A guy won one of my GA
  2. I sent the key via Steamgift.com
  3. 10 hour later i sent the same key again (just in case) via email
  4. 17 hours later send a 2nd email asking if the key work or maybe he had some issue (sh@&+ happens)
  5. +24 hours i check is steam profile, the game is in his library, i sent a friend request.
  6. My friend request was rejected, and still awaiting for feedback on the ga status.

I read the FAQs and know i must wait 7th day to summit a ticket, should i preare for the worse?

(Sorry my english i do my best to write with the less gramatical error posible.)

it would be nice to have something like "if a winner of your giveaways activated their win but didn't mark it as received, you can contact support immediately." in the faq. but i guess there is no such thing. so, wait.

If he doesn't contact you and doesn't mark it at received after 7 days, open a support ticket.

If he openly rejected your friend request (game is in account, he knows who you are because he emailed you, denied friend request) then... Yeah, there's only one conclusion. I doubt he got 'confused' and didn't realize who added him but I think, based on what you are telling us, he's just another person trying to cheat the system.

Create a ticket after 7 days and be sure to report him if you get absolutely no contact on the situation. It's pretty cut and dry if you ask me.

If he has the game in his library but he reported the key as not working and still hasn't marked as received (He has the game in his library is what we are being told, nothing serves to be gained here by lying)then that would most likely be him trying to get another copy.

EDIT: Although, I think I am having issues reading the OP for some reason. I don't think the user asked for another copy but it seems like either way he clearly used the key he was given.

Now that's sad :/ Well, if he will mark as not received after 7 days, then make a ticket. I haven't had such a problem, but that's how I would behave.

you know you only need one giveaway for level 1, right? one giveaway from a promo or games gmg given for free or very cheap bundle, and congrats, you're level 1!

Take a screenshot of his/her library and keep it. If after seven days the issue is not solved, creates a support ticket and attach the capture of the library and the emails that you sent him/her.

I had a similar issue, though the user never activated himself my gift (probably he passed the key to someone else as it was redeemed). I had to wait a week in order to create a ticket but after sending the screenshots to the support I had my feedback. So don't worry, as long as you kept screenshots of all of your tries to contact the winner.

I try to invited him again (to take a screem of him in my frind list requested) but i cant, irecived a error message like this:
Error al añadir amigo. Por favor, inténtalo de nuevo.

Error to add friend. Please try again latter (or something like that)
