You can obtain your free digital copy of Stormblood on your preferred platform during the promotional period of March 27 – May 8, 2023. However, if you wish to access Stormblood content, you will need to purchase the Starter Edition of FINAL FANTASY XIV, which will require you to upgrade your Free Trial account to a full Service Account, with all its associated benefits. The Starter Edition comes with a 30-day free subscription period. Once the 30-day free subscription period has elapsed, you will need to pay a monthly subscription to continue accessing FINAL FANTASY XIV Online.

Worked in USA even though I don't have the base game

Having played a lot of FFXIV and going through all the expansions(off steam client), I can tell you stormblood is the worst out of all of them, easily, if anyone wonders, but free is free.
